During my recent business trip to Yamanouchi, my director booked us at the Hotel Yudanaka. This charming hotel boasted a magnificent array of bathing facilities, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. From the peaceful hot springs to the invigorating sauna, there were five types of baths to suit every preference and need. The variety of options allowed me to immerse myself in the rich Japanese bathing culture, providing a truly authentic experience.

While my stay at Hotel Yudanaka was overall delightful, there was one minor drawback that caught my attention.

Location near the mountains near the snow monkey park, and Jigokudani Monkey Park. For tea or coffee visit Chamise nearby.

comfortable and excellent location, it was close to a train station. the room we had was huge and neat with bathroom, free wifi and duvets. the staff was really helpful, kept everything fairly clean and fine.

Brand-new hotel with excellent staff and stunning mountain views. Large rooms and a huge private bathroom. - Unbeatable location only a minute walk from Nishimiya Shrine.

The hotel has a particularly good location close to restaurants in town. It's situated in Yudanaka Onsen district, not far from the railway station and taxi services. - the property features a restaurant on the ground floor.

Convenient location near Yudanaka station and bus stops for skiing and snow monkey park. Spacious rooms with great views, equipped with fridge and kettle. Friendly staff provided exceptional service, including a personal shuttle to the monkey park. Nearby convenience store and recommended restaurant. highly recommended for its charm, warmth, and convenience. 🏔️

Amazing location near transportation, delicious Japanese breakfast, warm and clean rooms, helpful staff, convenient onsen.

The location here is awesome! It's super close to Nishimiya Shrine and the train station, so convenient 🚉. the rooms are really cozy with great heating and plenty of space, plus you get the most amazing view of the snowy mountains. the bedroom is huge with a really comfortable bed, perfect for a good night's sleep.

The Sunset Spot: The color of the sky at sunset and the sea of clouds carried out a breathtaking performance, creating a magical atmosphere. It was as if nature had painted the sky with its vibrant palette, leaving me in awe of the stunning view.

Cleanliness issue: The bathroom could have been cleaned better, with some areas looking like they hadn't been thoroughly scrubbed.

Friendly and hardworking staff. Exceptional breakfast crew. Convenient location near train station. Big public onsen with sauna. Free shuttle to Snow Monkey Park.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Low doorways for tall people.

Had an amazing experience during our New Year stay at this traditional ryokan. the tatami rooms were spacious and comfortable, with warm futon beds and cozy quilts. the onsen facilities were a highlight, offering a relaxing and rejuvenating experience after a long day on the slopes. the hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to the nearby Yudanaka station and a variety of restaurants. the free shuttle bus to the Ryuo ski park was a convenient bonus, making our skiing adventures hassle-free.

There were a few minor downsides to our stay. the hallways could get a bit cold, which was a little uncomfortable.

This hotel is a great value for money, offering affordable prices for a traditional Japanese experience. The location near the train station makes it convenient for travelers exploring Yamanouchi. Additionally, the staff provides excellent service, ensuring a comfortable stay. The basic amenities, including free wifi and rooms with bathrooms, add to the convenience of the hotel. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of delicious options to start the day off right.

All in all, this hotel was satisfactory and met our expectations.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, very close to the train station and town centre, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. The hotel facilities were great, including an onsite onsen. The staff was helpful, especially the one who spoke English. We also appreciated the free shuttle service to the nearby monkey park.

The breakfast was complimentary and we were glad it was included. the hotel was situated near the train station, which made it easy to get around. We were also happy to find a local convenience store within walking distance. the best aspect of our stay was definitely the traditional tatami room with a futon bed. It was a unique experience that we enjoyed.

We also experienced some issues with the wifi, which was frustrating.
